legendary jazz album in outstanding sound quality

new, factory sealed
Free jazz, introduced by pioneers like Ornette Coleman, Cecil Taylor or Horace Tapscott, was still rejected by most musicians and listeners in 1960. For the visionary saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist Eric Dolphy, on the other hand, it was simply new music that fed off the mainstream - a logical extension of the jazz tradition. With his three albums from 1960, including "Out There," Dolphy became one of the most talked-about jazzmen of his time, influencing numerous colleagues. Playing alongside Dolphy are Ron Carter on cello, George Duvivier on bass and Roy Haynes on drums.
Remastering for Analogue Productions' hybrid SACD was handled by Kevin Gray.
